Festival and Death Swoons (Open) Empty
PostSubject: Festival and Death Swoons (Open)   Festival and Death Swoons (Open) EmptyTue Jul 26, 2011 2:10 am

In a open field near the Ellesmarian, different types of tents and stands stood around in organized aisles. A type of festival event like thing was being celebrated in the honor of Ellesmarian soldiers fighting for their country and wild celebrations galore happened in the night. Groups of people danced to the music, children visited tents for games and sightseeing, and men were having eating contests while women gossiped. Large amounts of noises filled everyone's ears. There was a ring of people holding hands and jumping around and dancing. In the ring, a young man with a appearance that fit a teenage boy more than it did his own age was reluctantly in the circle. Something had bothered him that caused him to go in the first place, and it went a little like this . . .

Theodore was tending to his rose bush like usual until he noticed a piece of paper stuck to a thorn. He took it off and read:
Tonight at the great festival celebrating the soldiers, everyone attending shall die and you shall be at fault. But if you, Mr. Maron, attend at this celebration we shall not kill them.

Theodore thought the note strange and irrational, but he sent it to the authorities anyway ... and he rarely went to those people. Due to that, some guards came to the festival. (It continued on though.) Theodore himself came due to him not wanting many people dying just because he refused to go. It might of been some sort of trap, but it was such a vague thing, so either choice seemed both equal in reason. Reports of people fainting and dying afterwards have been heard, but it didn't drew people away. There seemed no danger to make them faint. Theodore begun to worry what was going on and tried to leave the circle, but no one let him leave until he pretended he was going to throw up. He ran off to behind a tent.
"My," He said to himself, "People are dying anyway ... I wonder what shall I do."

Floating high above the crowded group of spectators and party goers, could be heard the sound of childish laughter. Looking down on the weaklings, Gil couldn't help but feel like a child with the magnifying glass hovering above the ants that scurried about. He had to admit, throughout all the years of life he had possessed, this was the biggest way to pass time. Whatever his plans were, whatever he was doing or going to do, watching mortal races, especially humans, was always his favorite pass time to perform.

However, tonight he had an actual agenda set for him, granted it wasn't one normally followed. And the agenda tonight was death. Not of him or any of the bastards below, not alot of them anyway. Gil actually had to keep the majority of these people alive. After all he needed them as cannon fodder for the war right!? Anything to keep those pesky "free people" of Armetisia and and their stupid alliance at bay. Besides, what would have been the point in brainwashing the two kings of Ellesmaria and Barlavaria if he went and slaughtered everyone before they could fill their role as meat shields for him. It was this thought that brings us to the next moment Gil was to follow: Helping out these idiot people from whatever was offing them. Oh yea, forgot to mention, something was offing the people down below! And as such, Gil did not take kindly to this, especially since these were -his- people to throw away, not someone else's.

He sifted through the crowd, but to keep things fun for him, decided not to use any mind reading to see what was going on. However, he did find a small, weak looking ant with rather....odd looking tastes about him sitting behind a tent, pretending to be sick. With literally a blink of his eye, Gil poofed from one spot, right into another.

*PooF* "Why hello there sir, you seem a bit, shall we say," Gil began in a kind, joyful and even, dare I say it, jubelant tone, to "Under the weather." Being finished in a cold, deep, and dark tone of voice before immediately switching back to a smile. "So, tell me, who's killing my meat shields, I so hate to waste a good meat shield."

{[Yea, that's right, Gil himself is here. Weird right? Not really, the man does what he wants!]}

Festival and Death Swoons (Open) Empty

Jeni had been traveling quite alot lately. She hadn't had any really issues or assignments lately and thusly it gave her more freedom than working for the council. She had recently heard word that someone was going to assassinate people at the festival tonight. This was her home, and now as a Dread Skull, she had duty to protect her home. As she walked her armor seemed to sing. Her weapon dangled at her side and her olive green and midnight black eyes searched the crowed area. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time and unaware of the danger that was waiting for them.

Jeni looked down as a couple of little boys and a little girl ran up to her. No fear in their eyes. They asked if she was a real knight. She smiled and squated down to their level. "Shhh, we must not go telling anyone shall we?" She asked smiling and then took out three peices of silver giving each of them one. "Now, you all should be turning in soon, but you better spend all of that, just don't spend it all on candy." She said. "It will rot your teeth. Hurry along! Be on your way." She said patting each of them on the head and sending them off. Jeni just wanted to find out who the person or people was/were that were going to try and execute everyone tonight.
